Afghanistan Ssh68

Soviet manufactured Ssh68 in service with the new Afghan Army together with helmets from other former Warsaw Pact countries including East Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic and Romania. The transfer to the right side is that of the National Colours and found on many Afghan helmets, though these do vary, some have colours in a different triangular order, some are spray painted stencils and some are found on the left side of the helmet. Below is a chart of some of the variations. The cover is the plain desert type which has seen use.
