Serbia M59/85
This Yugoslavian M59/85 bares a stick on badge of the Army of the Serbian Republic. The liner is based on the US Riddel system like that of the previous M59 only with a few modifications. These helmets are commonly referred to as NE44's which is actually an abbreviation of Neretva (River in the former Yugoslavia) and 1944, it is reported that this was to celebrate the last victory over Germany in WWII by Tito's Partisans, though this is not confirmed..
