Latvia Ssh40

Standard Soviet Ssh40 used with the Latvian Army in the 1990's. Issued alongside the Swedish M37/62 and other Soviet helmets, though in less numbers, these helmets had no unique stamps or markings, the only distinguishing feature is the Woodland pattern camo cover which is a close copy of the Croatian Woodland pattern. This helmet is dated 1953.
