Czechoslovakia Airborne

I call this a M40/42 Airborne helmet as its origins are that of a WWII German M40 or M42 helmet that has been cut down in the early post war years. Huge stocks of German helmets were stripped, repainted and had Czech made liners and chinstraps added. This one has the red star stencilled to the front.
