New Zealand M1
New Zealand troops have had M1 helmets issued since the early 1960's, the first helmets were ex USA, this helmet variant was the last to be used and made in South Korea, and was in service from 1980 - 2000.
The camo cover is the DPM, a similar pattern to the British DPM though the colours are lighter, two shades of NZ DPM were issued in helmet cover form. Prior to this pattern the NZ Army were issued the US Mitchel, Woodland and ERDL covers. Some WWII dated hessian covers from surplus stock were also not uncommon.
