This Ssh40 has at one stage had a repaint, the liner pads are unusual and rare, being a cloth canvas type these are seldom seen as opposed to the more common oilcloth type. The chinstraps are the East German type added sometime in the 1960's. The camo net has attached anti infra-red strips.
