China GK82 Airborne

This airborne helmet is made of non-ballistic nylon and was designed to be discarded after the jump was completed, then to be replaced by the steel combat helmets. It offered no ballistic protection whatsoever, just designed to protect the wearer from the rigors of landing. The neck flap is removable and liner adjustable. Again no visible stamps to the interior.  This example has a red star stencilled to the front.
