These helmets were manufactured on the small Greek Island of Kea about 60km from Athens. The Enamel and Metallurgy Factory (See Bottom) was located in the Valley of Livadi and employed over 300 workers. This factory was awarded a contract of 250,000 units (Weather these quantities were manufactured is unclear) over multiple international Companies after trials prior to WWII also producing Enamelware, Army Canteens and other equipment.
On the liner is a stamp of a Cross, a size (57), a Crown, and a circular "Ellinikos Stratos" which translates to Greek Army.
