Soviet Ssh39
The second version of the Ssh39 saw an improved liner and heavier chinstrap. The liner was mounted on a steel ring and had a Graleks sweatband with an adjustable stocking cloth liner as with the M36. The remnants of a red star can be seen
to the front and the soldiers name to the interior rear is also present. The size is 58.
The cover is the 1938 "Amoeba" pattern, shown in pictures below being worn on M36's probably during the war against Japan early in WWII, the cover is a size 2 and dated 1942.
