Bulgaria M36C
The Bulgarian WWII helmets had a heavy German influence, this the third model has the National Tri-Colour shield to the right side. The leather liner and chinstrap is present and is a size 57. The suspension system of four spring steel brackets is similar to that found on the Greek M34. These helmets have remained in the Bulgarian Armed Forces for decades, they were supposed to be superseded by the M51/72 but both have remained in service side by side well into the 1990's.
