The shape of this helmet is very unique as is the construction of the liner. The chinstrap was generally made of leather with a split chin cup, this example has a rarer canvas chinstrap.
Under one of the liner pads are stamps "Sch-M  38" which is "C A Scholtz Matejovco" and date of manufacture "1938".
