Iran M62

Iran purchased thousands of Bundeswehr (West German) M62 helmets in the 1970's during the Shahs reign, some were given Iranian made liners and sand painted, others like this example retained the original colour but added was an Iranian made chinstrap, though the hardware was reused. Many helmets bore various stencils and inscriptions, this one has the red "Khomeini Regime, Allah (God)" stencil to the left side, used during the 1980's war with Iraq.
