Iraq M80/03

This helmet developed in 2003 is based on the older M80 Corlon helmet, though improvements would be hard to find as this along with the previous models leave much to be desired in offering protection to its wearers. The liner is removable and made of a much more coarse material and in a dark green colour. The chinstrap clasp is very basic and is a hook and eye arrangement.
The cover is simple yet effective, a net and green nylon material in one unit which comes already assembled and mounted on the helmet. The colour of the helmet is Sand in most cases, though an Ocher based variant can be found.
